STOP THE BLAME GAME AND
FIND NEW REVENUE FOR COUNTY SERVICES!

This fall, the County Executive announced that County Senior Centers would have to cut services. People organized and protested these cuts. The County Board and the County Executive debated whose fault it was but the cuts were stopped. Then, the County Executive announced that the Homeless Shelters would have to be cut back. Homeless people, Street Angels, Shelter staff and concerned citizens organized and protested. The County Board and the County Executive argued about who should be blamed. Luckily, the cuts were stopped. Now the County Executive has announced that the Lincoln Park Aquatics Center will have to be closed. People are organizing to fight the closure. The County Executive has sent out a letter to residents explaining how this is all the fault of the County Board. It is a political version of Ground Hog Day. County leaders are bickering while vital community services are at risk. Enough already!
